Do I need to sign up or pay?
No. The full video plays on this page with no account, no email and no payment.
Can I watch it on my phone?
Yes. The player is built mobile-first: double-tap either side to skip ten seconds, and picture-in-picture works on iOS and Android.
Does it remember where I stopped?
Yes. Your position is saved locally in your browser every few seconds. When you come back you get a resume prompt, and nothing is sent to a server.
What is ambient mode?
The same idea as YouTube's: the player samples the colours currently on screen and casts them as a soft glow behind the video. Toggle it in the settings menu, or turn it off entirely.
Which keyboard shortcuts work?
Space or K to play, J and L to skip ten seconds, arrow keys for five seconds and volume, M to mute, F for fullscreen, T for theater mode, I for picture-in-picture, C for captions, and 0 through 9 to jump to a percentage.
Where is the video hosted?
Cloudflare R2, served over a custom domain on Cloudflare's CDN. No third-party player, no tracking pixels, no ads.
Does it have subtitles, and in what language?
Yes, English subtitles are on by default. Toggle them from the gear menu, where you can also change their size and background.
What are the transitions between parts, and how do I turn them off?
The video pauses briefly at the start of each of the 14 parts to show its title, then resumes on its own after a few seconds. You can skip one instantly by clicking it or pressing Space, or turn them off entirely from the gear menu.
